6 chapters. One connected approach.
Your story
Provider listening to a patient during a wellness assessment
Care begins with listening.

01 / The complete assessment

First, we get
to know you.

Time with your provider to understand the whole picture: your history, your routines, your concerns and the goals you want to work toward.

  • A complete physical examination
  • Preventive screenings appropriate for you
  • Health history, medications and lifestyle review
  • Your priorities, defined together
A person first. A plan second.

02 / Lab work with direction

Go beneath
the surface.

Your provider selects laboratory testing around your assessment and goals. A focused concern or a more comprehensive program gives us a different starting point—not the same list for everyone.

Your goalsRelevant labsClinical context

We coordinate preparation and collection instructions. Results are reviewed with your provider when available; timing varies by test.

Your body

03 / Two perspectives. A fuller picture.

Meet your body.
In a whole new way.

Body composition and metabolic assessment bring different insights to your plan. Your provider helps choose the evaluations that fit your needs.

Photograph meals in Stelo. Review what you ate, when, and how your glucose changed with your care team.

This can happen while your lab results are being processed. Lab turnaround is separate from the sensor observation period.

Stelo is for adults 18+ who do not use insulin and is not for people with problematic hypoglycemia. Sensor life varies. Review readings with your clinician before making medical decisions. Stelo information ↗

Talk to our team
What does a functional medicine assessment in Miami include?

Start with a consultation to review your history, routines, concerns and goals. Your provider selects appropriate laboratory tests, body-composition or metabolic assessments and optional monitoring. Your plan is individualized; you do not need every assessment.

How are InBody, PNOĒ and VO₂ max different?

InBody 580 measures body composition. PNOĒ resting testing explores resting energy expenditure; active testing with Wattbike measures VO₂ max to assess cardiorespiratory fitness. Your provider helps select a protocol around your evaluation and goals.

Is continuous glucose monitoring part of every plan?

Stelo continuous glucose monitoring is optional and discussed with your provider. For selected adults, it can add everyday glucose patterns to your nutrition review when appropriate for your situation.

How should I prepare for metabolic testing?

Contact our team before your appointment for instructions specific to your assessment. Bring questions, relevant prior results and a current medication list.

How do my results guide prevention, nutrition and activity?

Your provider reviews results alongside your history and goals, then discusses practical priorities for prevention, nutrition, movement and follow-up. Measurements inform the conversation; recommendations and any treatment options are individualized.
